RFID handbook: fundamentals and applications in contactless smart cards, radio frequency identification and near-field communication

RFID is a major growth area in auto ID, allowing emergency vehicles to safelytrip traffic signals, and providing the technology behind contactless smart cards, autopiloting cars, and production automation. Finkenzeller has updated his well-received book to include the latest information on the use of RFID in ticketing and electronic passports (a very topical subject). He has added information on the EPCglobal network, and covers EPC network basics also. Parts ofthe chapter on frequency ranges and radio licensing regulations have been revised.
